Tax Lien Pro Privacy

Tax Lien Pro Privacy Policy

Effective Date: July 15, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Tax Lien Pro collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use our websites, mobile applications, account features, credits, support tools, lead research tools, and related services.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect account information such as your name, email address, password credentials handled by our authentication provider, plan, preferences, support messages, API key records, administrative role information, and settings. We also collect app activity such as searches, unlocked leads, saved leads, feedback, credit ledger activity, AI review requests, device or browser metadata, IP address, logs, error reports, and security events.

2. Payment and Credit Information

We process information needed to manage purchases, subscriptions, credit packs, refunds, payment confirmations, invoices, and fraud prevention. If Stellar payments or other wallet payments are available, we may process payment request details such as destination address, asset, amount, memo, network, confirmation status, and related transaction metadata. We do not intend to store full card numbers in the app; card payment details, if enabled, are handled by the applicable payment processor.

3. Public Record and Lead Information

The service displays and organizes information from public records, official source pages, auction records, tax delinquency records, court or county materials, recorded documents, assessor and parcel data, public notices, and commercially available enrichment sources. This may include property addresses, owner names, mailing addresses, lien or tax amounts, auction details, surplus estimates, source URLs, and contact information where available. Publicly available government record information may not be treated as personal information under some privacy laws, but we still handle it carefully.

4. How We Use Information

We use information to provide and secure the service, authenticate users, manage accounts, maintain credit balances, unlock leads, provide subscriptions and enterprise access, process support requests, investigate refunds, improve data quality, run source ingestion and enrichment workflows, generate analytics, prevent abuse, comply with legal obligations, and communicate service-related updates.

5. How We Disclose Information

We may disclose information to service providers that help us operate the app, including hosting, database, authentication, payment, analytics, email, customer support, security, error monitoring, and infrastructure providers. We may disclose information to comply with law, enforce our terms, protect rights and safety, investigate abuse, complete a business transaction, or with your direction. If you use API or enterprise features, information may be disclosed through the integrations and users you authorize.

6. Cookies, Local Storage, and Mobile Data

The service may use cookies, local storage, session storage, device identifiers, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, secure sessions, measure usage, and troubleshoot issues. Mobile versions may receive basic device, operating system, app version, and diagnostic information needed to operate the application.

7. Data Retention

We keep information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain records, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, prevent fraud or abuse, and enforce our agreements. Lead unlock history, credit ledger records, audit logs, payment records, API records, and administrative actions may be retained even after account closure where needed for accounting, security, legal, or operational reasons.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No online service can guarantee perfect security. You are responsible for protecting your login credentials, devices, API keys, wallet information, and exported data.

9. Your Choices and Privacy Rights

You may update certain account settings in the app and may request access, correction, deletion, or export of your account information by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to know what personal information is collected, request deletion, correct inaccurate information, opt out of certain sale or sharing activity, limit use of sensitive personal information, or avoid discrimination for exercising privacy rights. Some requests may be limited by public-record exemptions, security needs, legal obligations, transaction records, and information we must retain to provide the service.

10. Sales, Sharing, and Advertising

We do not intend to sell your account information for money. If we use advertising, analytics, or enrichment partners in a way that is considered a "sale," "sharing," or targeted advertising under applicable privacy laws, we will provide required choices. You can contact us to request opt-out handling for your account.

11. Children

The service is intended for adults and business users. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

12. International Users

The service is operated from the United States. If you access the service from another country, your information may be processed in the United States or other jurisdictions where our providers operate, and those jurisdictions may have different data protection laws.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as our service, data practices, providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date above shows when this page was last updated. Continued use of the service after updates are posted means the updated policy applies.
